- The MTM i-Map project focuses on “irregular and mixed migration movements from sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East towards the Mediterranean region and Europe.”
- The interactive map Snapshot: Global Migration by Farhana Hossain, provided by the New York Times, 2007, shows the global migration trends by country revealing net flow, share of total migrants, share of local population, money sent home by migrants, and money sent home as a share of GDP.
